I attended a Siemens flow seminar last week and the presenter mentioned that Si-Ware software could be used to determine the transducer model and to calculate the LTN distance-between-transducer-faces value. I had him show me where and how it's done (Utilities tab > Liquid Tool) The attached pdf document shows a screen shot from Si-Ware for a calculation for 102 inch carbon steel pipe, water at flow rates from 1 to 20 feet/sec. The resulting LTN distance is 117.2", a little less than 3m. You can download Si-Ware software and run the calcs yourself in SI units.
