Is there an neater way to indirect transfer the complex data type "Date_And_Time" ?

I use the code below now, but i suggest that there should be a better and shorter way. Bud i can’t figure it out.

I use this, to log date and time together with other variables in an DB i want to do it indirectly because it needs to be every log on another position in the DB.

Yes 300 is the case.

I have worked on BLKMOV (sfc 20), bud i don’t seem to find a way to get an indirect access address on the output.

The most neat way would of course be, getting the indirect address on the output of theRD_SYS_T (sfc 1) (bud than i have the same problem that i can't find a way to address it)

I have made the code like u suggested with sfc 20 like this.

CALL RD_SYS_T // Read system time (SFC 1)

I’m using V12 pro SP1 incl WINCC Advanced.

In my opinion this have nothing to do with optimized DB. Since there is no optimized DB in 300. And I can also see the offset.

1. Area Pointer
2. DB Pointer
3. ANY Pointer

As far as I know it is possible to have mass transfer fromm dynamic source(variable DB number and starting address) data area to dynamic target data area by using SFC20 and pointers.It should be really difficult to handle and would not be efficient compared to what you want to do here.

About your code, despite missing point about loading AR2, I can suggest using loop to reduce some lines of codes.But note, loop also needs some syntax and memory as loop counter and I am not sure that would be the optimum solution for 8-byte data transfer.You can try both methods and update here.
