Hi all,

We have a monitoring project with S7-300 PLC. In this project we have 5 stations with CPU S7-315-2DP and CP 343-1 for Industrial Ethernet communication.

Communication media between 5 stations is fiber optic (30km, 10km, 60km and 30km). We want to use WINCC in each station for local monitoring and in station No.5 WINCC is used for monitoring of all of 5 stations.

For connection of 5 stations we want to use HIRSCHMANN Industrial Ethernet switches. Overall of system shown in attachment PDF file.

I want to know anybody has done similar of this project. Let me know any problem or notice in our design.

Iwant to use HIRSCHEMANN Industrial Ethernet switch (http://www.hirschmann.de/Industrial-Ethernet/en/products_en.html).
according to catalogues of Hirschmann some of switches could be cover 24 to 86.6Km distance over single mode fiber.
