Hello Mr Khan SFB12/SFB13 are for usage in an S7-400 PLC. In a 300 you need to useFB12/13 from the following libraries: CP 343-1 usage:SIMATIC_NET_CP -> CP300 CPU PN port usage:Standard library -> Communication Blocks You'll find an example on how to use these inthe FAQ How do you program communication blocks FB12 "BSEND" and FB13 "BRCV" for data exchange in the S7 program of an S7-300 CPU? I hope this helps |

Well, I'd sayyou got lucky and managed to make something work that isNOT officially supported (or was it perhaps a 318 which is internally an S7-400?). While FB12/13 use SFB12/13 internally, I'd say there are good reasons that Siemens developed these for the S7-300 and they are the ones you ought to use. Apart from the link I previously sent you, you'll find the same advicein Which types of connection/protocols do the S7-300/400 CPUs and the CPs support by default? as well as in chapter 32.3 ofthe CPU-CPU communication with SIMATIC controllers (compendium). You can of course continue trying to makeSFB12/13 work in your S7-300,but I suggest you go for the correct FB12/13. |
