Initiating SQL query from Comfort panel WinCC/Flex

Matt_paco Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I need to initiate an SQL query from my comfort panel, can this be done and what is the best way to go about it. I have other options, but I'd like to keep it as simple as possible. TIA V13 SP1, TP1500 comfort connected to my 400 PLC via a device proxy and connected to my network over industrial ethernet. I have no experience with servers, but the IT guys have no experience with the automation software. I'm researching the OPC server. Can you point me in the correct direction?

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 1/21/2025 Posts: 14617 Rating: (1819)	Hello Matt_paco I´m Sorry if you read the FAQ then you can see: ---------- Note An SQL database cannot be accessed from a Windows CE-based panel (a Comfort Panel, for example). ----------- So a Simatic Comfort Panel works with WinCE V6.0 so I Also do not know any possability to get this done on a Comfort Panel.
