Input behavior - input on activate changed on Update 2 V19

Scyzoryk96 Regular Member Joined: 12/7/2020 Last visit: 10/2/2024 Posts: 37 Rating: (2)	TIAV19 UPD2 WinCC Unified v19 UPD2 Hello. I started new project few months ago, on TIA V19 with WinCC Unified. I make a lot of workaround's to make barcode reader work (enabling and disabling multiple IOfields in order to always input data in one IOfield and then process data on Successful entry Event). Unfortunetly, after updating WinCC Unified to latest version, an Input on Activate IOfield behavior changed. Usually (form V16, WinCC Adv, Pro, and Unified) Input on Activate immediately allow operator to input data. Right now, after activating an IOfield i can see that IOfield is in focus, but i need to tap "TAB" key again to start input. Is it just a bug or a "feature". Is there a chance it will be fixed in 2-3 mo form now? Is someone can confirm what I observe? Thanks in advance

What I understand is that you have done some scripting on the OnActivated event of an IO field that no longer fires when you click on the IO field. I have not observed this behavior in PC Runtime V19 Update 2 (I have not jetted the Update 2 SR1 from last Friday). And also not on a MTP1200 with the current image version V19.0.0.2. The changes to get a fix if there is a bug will increase dramatically at the moment as development gets knowledge of the problem. To make sure they know, you should create a support request. What"s more important: I've got an response form Siemens: Siemens Industry Technical Support [...] We got a response from our development department. It is planned to fix the behavior with WinCC Unified PC Runtime V19 Update 3. The Update is planned for September 2024. [...] So that is a bug, and hopefully will be fixed soon.
