Hello my good people

I am using a CPU1513, TP1200 Comfort, TIA15 and WinCC Advanced.

I have made a remote access to my HMI by using Sm@rtServer/Client. It is working like it should both in the Sm@rtClient program and in a internet browser.

My problem is that you can only use one screen at a time, either the HMI or the PC with Sm@rtClient. Whenever I am using one of them, the other one gets a 'No input' (see attached picture) whenever you press on something. Probably to prevent someone to eg. use the HMI, when another is using the PC. But I dont know how to get out of it. If I have used the PC, and now will use the HMI, I need to click on the screen many times before the 'No input' goes away and I can use the screen. And it is the same the other way around.

So my question is, do anyone know how to get away from 'No input', when you go from one device to another?

first of all this is a normal behaviour and a basic function of the Smart Server.

You can have an influence on the function by some settings in the Smart Server.

here you can set the time for "Active User Timeout". Default is 10 seconds. But you can reduce to 1 second for example. but be aware a parallel editing is not possible. you only can reduce the release time of the lock.

you also can aktivate the Force Write Access Password. then you can tip 3-4 times on the Screen and a input window opens. then you can force the using rights back with the Password.
