Input text in several lines

Hello:

I need to introduce a text 116 characters long (array of char) from HMI to PLC

Of course it is longer than screen. I've done it in 3 lines but it means you need to input 3 different fields.

I would like to have the possibility of insert and display it in only one box, as multiline line box. Is this possible in WinCC??

I was expecting "Shift + Enter" would solve your issue, but it is not...

It appears in 3 differents lines when you check in the properties of the "Text list", but not in runtime.

Maybe there is a properties for the "Symbolic I/O field" itself, but I can't find it.

I found it!

If the "Symbolic I/O field" is in "Input" or "Input/Output", the "Shift + Enter" appear with character "¶".

If the "Symbolic I/O field" is in "Output", the "Shift + Enter" act as a new line.
