TomDeWou Platinum Member Joined: 11/15/2006 Last visit: 5/7/2021 Posts: 1319 Rating: (175)	..and check the logfiles in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Siemens\Automation\Logfiles - there you might see an error which is causing this issue. The screenshot itself is almost worthless.

Hgg Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	I've tried to install from DVD and HD. BothI had the same problems. As the error is on begin of instalation, there is no log files. The antivirus was desactivated but the error remains.

Are you using an adminstrator account on the computer and does the computer meet the minimum requirements to run wincc pro v11

At around 16:37:19 in the log file it states language problems. Try setting it up for english/german/portugese with english or german as the primary language. If/when it installs correctly, change the primary language to portugese as needed. I believe that is what is causing problems, but it also does not seem happy with VC71Redist package, which I think is redistributable code for VC++ v7.1. It may not be able to install the redistributable libraries without English/German as the install language.

TomDeWou Platinum Member Joined: 11/15/2006 Last visit: 5/7/2021 Posts: 1319 Rating: (175)	huggy_d1 Hgg I believe that is what is causing problems, but it also does not seem happy with VC71Redist package, which I think is redistributable code for VC++ v7.1. It may not be able to install the redistributable libraries without English/German as the install language. It's the VC issue which causes the setup to end with error. Siemens just delivers it on CD as it is needed, but you can run the installation of it from DVD standalone as well - so I suggest running the VC71Redist Setup manually. Maybe there's a clear error message what goes wrong then. Otherwise check you installation source, a 'non-existent SPF code' could mean that SPF files from installation source are missing.
