install COML_TF on top of SIMATIC NET 2005

The CP1613 card is connected to an old SINEC H1 network. He has a PC running under Windows Server 2003. This PC has STEP7 and SIMATIC NET 2005 installed. He would like to add COML_TF from the SIMATIC NET 2000 CD without de-installing SIMATIC NET 2005. Can anyone explain how to add COML_TF from the SIMATIC NET 2000 CD without de-installing SIMATIC NET 2005 ? Thanks, Carlo

As hisCOML_TF ispart of SIMATIC NET CD 05/2000, the latest supported Windows OS is Win2000 Workstation as per Which SIMATIC NET CD is released for which Microsoft Windows operating system? As he already has SIMATIC NET CD 05/2005 on his Windows 2003 Server based PC, I would as such not attempt to add COML_TF to it. I think you can however get a corresponding TF-1613 driver license for your SIMATIC NET CD 05/2005 and suggest you get in touch with your local Siemens sales rep to find out more (in which case any exisitngCOML_TF configuration will most likelyneed to be manualy redone though). I hope this helps and perhaps other have more info this too.
