If yes then how to do it? I think supportable panel have inbuilt available it. Externally installation not possible.

Pl See Catalog - Comfort Panels How do you open a Word, Excel or PDF document with a Comfort Panel? How do you read out or write tag values with an Excel application? Hope this helps Cheers Navnag

And Dear Ayman, I want to log the values of the various real variables to excel sheet but as it is only possible if and only if i have excel application in it but as we know there is only excel viewer installed to comfort panel

Siemens If you want to read or evaluate the logged data without WinCC Runtime Advanced, then you should use the "CSV file (ASCII)" storage location. Quotation marks or multiple characters are not permitted as separators in the "File - CSV (ASCII)" storage location. The setting for separators is to be found under "Start > Settings > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options".

The whole question is for editing the excel file that is to open the excel file at regular interval and add the time stamp along with the certain tags values in it Is it possible

Remember Comfort Panel is not a PC. You can take the CSV log file from the Comfort Panel and open it on Excel on a PC. And you can edit it as you like.

But there is also an Application example for proceeding the Log Information on another Computer like this: How can you graphically display the contents of the tag archive of a Comfort Panel or the WinCC Runtime Advanced on the PC without WinCC (TIA Portal)? https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/60520367 Perhaps it helps. PS you can also open CSV Files with the Pocket Explorer on the Panel but then you can see only the content of the File and not a formated sight like in MS Excel Bye Murof
