Install new language to 840di system

GenghisKhan Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Dear All I have a milling machine with 840di system.Now it is working with two language UK and GR but i want touse turkish language i have some files for changing but i have to modify mmc.ini file due to documentation, There isdifferent mmc.ini files for turkish langugage but this file so small and i think it is only for adding lines to orginal mmc.ini file but i do not know where can insert this lines to orginal file and which line i should modifed. Dos anybody know how can i do it? BR

pfuser Silver Member Joined: 9/18/2006 Last visit: 3/19/2023 Posts: 583 Rating: (64)	Hi. 1) If at you PCU50 - that for you it is necessary language package contains Turkish as the language for HMI Advanced SW 06.0х. 2) If at you PCU20 - that for you it is necessary HMI Embedded WIN32 software package V06.0х With the installation program, the application parametres can be modified, meaning that - languages can be changed - text can be added or edited - additional languages can be selected - operator panel machine data and MPI parametres (NETNAMES.INI) can be changed or replaced - the human-machine interface can be extended/ Successes.

GenghisKhan Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hi again I'm using 840di with PCU50 hmi version 7.02 sp2 I changed language to Turkish, on normal screen i can see all character normal (ass you see 1.jpg)but when i open the program side i have little problem because of the some letters (ş,ı,ğ) instead of these ones i can see strange letters(2.jpg). I have change mmc.ini files but problem does not solve Do you know how can it solve this problem. Kind regards Attachment 1.JPG (83 Downloads)
