Look at http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/37173023 and then use the Driver CD for CP 1623 shipped together with CP1623 package.
With the aid of with of RED. CONNECT. package yes it is possible to use it for communication with S7-400H (to build a fault-tolerant S7 connections). So, you will need a 6GK1716-0HB80-3AA0. You need a second CP1623 and the "POWERPACK S7 REDCONNECT" software package (6GK1716-0HB80-3AC0) to be able to operate this PC properly with an H system in a redundant network (redundant system bus). @Rated Xand @UMENCHOthankyou for the pointers. I am using SIMATIC NET V8.0 However, I still didn't get any prompt about the CP1623 on rebooting after installation of Simatic Net V8.0 After installingSimatic Net V8.0I was able to get the CP1623 up in the station configurator.( I have attached snaps of both installed softwares and the Stn confg) Does it mean the CP has been properly installed? Because it seems that I can't run the diagnostics from the PG-PC interface in the control panel?? With reference to the RedConnect usage, I am using a stand alone WinCC, since the CP1623 manual says that both ports on it would act as a switch, wouldn't that cover the connection issue for the CP1623? New question published by Ali@TCSG is split to a separate thread with the subject CP1623 not shown in Simatic Net. Best regards |
