In SIMATIC STEP 7 V5.5 and other SIMATIC software products released for Windows 7, the required driver for the SIMATIC USB Prommer and the PC Adapter USB are part of SIMATIC Device Drivers. A separate installation of the drivers as before via the CD supplied together with the PC Adapter resp. USB Prommer is thus no longer necessary.
