Installing CP5611 A2 Problem

hossein82 Posts: 44 Rating: (0)	Dear all Hello I bought a new CP5611 A2 , but when i put it to PCI slot of PC , it is not recognized by pc as new hardware . Also i can not finde it at device manager of pc --> below Categoriesin of Network Adapters in tree structure . What are the potential problems? Thanks

hossein82 Posts: 44 Rating: (0)	Hello Thanks for your points I should tell you , before , another CP5611 A2 has been installd on this PC and works properly and i desided to buy another new one with same specification as a spare, but when i insert it in same PCI slot of this PC , it is not recognized as new hardware for installation driver , is it possible the card by default is faulty or has problem ?

Rated X Posts: 1547 Rating: (129)	Hi, the CP5611 A2 is an uncomplicated Plug&Play card. You made everything right and you must minimum see the card in Device manager. The only option you have is in BIOS of your PC. There is a switch named like RESET CONFIGURATION DATA. If you enabled this option then with next PC start the Plug&Play information of Bios will be deleted and a new reorganization will start. After finishing the switch will be automatically set to no. To start this function you have to switch to yes and to reboot the PC. If the card didn't respond in any case and if the other card is working, then the new card is damaged. Contact your sales contact for replace.
