installing Portal V12

calvin83 Member Joined: 4/1/2011 Last visit: 10/9/2024 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I'm trying to install TIA Portal ProfessionalV12 on a Dell laptop running XP Pro SP3 and just get a failedprerequisite error, it appears as if my laptop meets all prerequisites, any suggestions? Thanks The image you posted has the answer you seek. Check the dvd readme notes for prerequisites. The one you are looking for is most likely: You must be running the install as an administrator on your PC.

Thanks Right-click the setup.exe on the dvd or install software and select run as administrator.
