I read theProcedure for WinCC(TIA Portal) and Windows 7document. I ping to machine to each other. My computer name is engineercomp. And I ping from panel to computer like "ping engineeringcomp" and I saw communucation everything seems okay. I write log like this "\\engineeringcomp\archive". I ceate a folder in harddisk C and give the name archive. I run the machine but no log data coming from panel to pc. If I am wrong please help me. And the other thing is, how can I see panel screen on my desktop? Thanks for help.

Hello bilginer2002, Did you change the "device name" of the panel? When you want to see the screen of your panel on the PC, you will need WinCC Flexible Sm@rtAcces or WinCC flexible Sm@rtService. Best regards, Wizard |

Hello bilginer2002! Are you using TIA Portal? I had to do the same with TIA and a TP277. Unfortunatelly I do not remember why, but it did not work for me so I took a different approach and used a vb script which was running when a tag changed. Here is an example from Online Support for WinCC flex: https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?query=tag+logging+script+windows+ce&func=cslib.cssearch&content=adsearch%2Fadsearch.aspx&lang=en&siteid=cseus&objaction=cssearch&searchinprim=&nodeid99=&redir=false I took the "write_data" script and modified it a little bit for my needs (see attachment). It works fine with the TP connected to the PC trough a simple switch. After the TP277 starts up, it asks for the username and pasword of the PC to connect. I created the folder which contains the data log file strait on the C: drive and made it "shared". BR Attila
