Hello FRD; Implementing Safe functions on a drive rshould require a Safe PLC (S7-300F), a Safe drive (CU240-F) and a Safe communication bus (ProfiSafe). Here is a list of links you can llok at, mixing theoretical info on SiemensSafety and applications implementing SIL2 certified functions in a G120 drive: Siemens Safety Portal: https://www.automation.siemens.com/cd/safety/index_76.htmProfisafe documentation: http://www.profisafe.net/ SINAMICS G120D: Controlled via Profibus, Safety functions using Profisafe, Category 3 (EN 954-1) and SIL 2 (IEC 61508) http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/26494756 SINAMICS G120 - controlled via Profibus Safety functions via terminals, Category 3 (EN 954-1) or SIL 2 (IEC 61508) http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/24230051 Safe Standstill: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22099400 Hope this helps,Daniel Chartier |
