Dragonarsty Advanced Member Joined: 5/6/2008 Last visit: 3/20/2025 Posts: 57 Rating: (2)	Dear all: When i dowload my project to S7-1200 CPU V4.0, i got an internal system error (error code 0xc0098d0003c0ffc3). If i delet all the program blocks and dowload hardware only,it is ok.So it looks like a program error. I creat a project with CPU V3.0 and copy all the program blocks in the V4.0 CPU project to it,and download it to a CPU FW V3.0,the is no error occur,why! attachment is the error screen Attachment Untitled.JPG (451 Downloads)

I creat a project with CPU V3.0 and copy all the program blocks in the V4.0 CPU project to it,and download it to a CPU FW V3.0,the is no error occur,why! attachment is the error screen In the right hand instruction pane (visible while editing or viewing OBs/FBs/FCs), look in any commuications or extended instructions for the revision level. You may need to stretch that pane wider to the left to see the rev field. Any that appear in blue, see if a higher rev level is available and select the highest available rev. Make any changes to blocks as required to compile. Please post back your results.

The FBs are copy from other project(V3.0 CPU),although before dowload i had compiled the project,but the FB are not upgrade.So the instance DBs can,t dowload. Iright click program blocks,popup the menuselect compile>software(rebuild all blocks), then dowload is ok. Thanks!

Was this project ever upgraded from an earlier version of portal, or the plc firmware upgraded after the project was created? What version of portal do you have? What update is installed?
