Hello Asson, Analog in Siemens is CP5611A2 (6GK1561-1AA01). But you will need Simatic Softnet S7. This meens the price will be the same. if you use Wonderware CP card, how will you connect to S7-300 PLC? Which I/O Server will be use? In other way, what do you think about using of ethernet? This is a plant that is up and running all ready and the 2 PC with intouch is connect to the PLC´s over profibus. To switch over to Ethernet is to expansive becuse non of the plc have ethernet cards and no LAN-Network. If i will use CP5611 or CP5613 im going to use wonderware Siemens S7 I/O Server If i going to use applicom PCU1500S7 Wonderware have i/o server for that, DAServer, DDE, FastDDE, SuiteLink. |

Hello Asson, Unfortunately you couldn't use existing SimaticNet software under Windows XP. For XP you need at least version 6.1...By the way you have 6.0. So, you need also 6GK1561-3AA01-3AE0 SW FOR CP 5613 A2. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev |

Hello Asson, Yes, you need exactly these "items" in SIEMENS side. Hardware plus software working in Windows XP mode. My idea is how to connect with Intouch application this Siemens hardware. I suggest you (perhaps Wonderware would suggest the same or some easier way) to use DAS S7 Server for S7 Profibus with SIMATIC NET. How to make all necessaries settings look at Configure DAS S7 Server in Windows® 2000/XP via CP1613 Interface over TCP Connection This example is with other CP (Ethernet), but logic is the same for you with Profibus CP.
