Hello Prabu; I am sorry, I am not sure I understand what you need to do in this project. Firstpoint, EtherCat and Profibus-DP are two different networks, and are incompatible. You need a gsd file to integrate a new slave in a Profibuis network; you need an ESI file to insert an Ethercat slave in a netowrk. EtherCAT Slave Implementation Guide - EtherCAT Technology Group 1- If you want to communicate with an EtherCat-enabled DA200 servo and a S7 CPU, you must use a Profibus-DP to EtherCat gateway between your DA200 servo and the S7-1200 PLC (in which case you need a CM 1243-5 Profibus-DP module in your S7-1200 rack). Here are some links to various manufacturers of these gateways, there are others on the web: Anybus X-gateway – PROFIBUS Master - EtherCAT Slave NT 100-RE-DP | Gateway EtherCAT Slave to PROFIBUS DP Master ... Kuhnke EtherCAT/PROFIBUS-DP Gateway - EtherCAT Technology ... 2--you may want to connect your DA200 servo to Profibus on a S7-1243-5 master module in a S7-1200 racjk, in which case you need a drive with a -P- designator in its model number, see the attachment below. You would then need a gsd file to insert a DA200 servo as a profibus slave. This gsd file is not found on the web. I suggest you contact INVT support and request it from them (it is their responsability to make the gsd file available for users). http://www.invt.com/products/1661.html If you go this way, have a look at the following operating manual, section 8.4 discusses the Profibus-DP protocol with this servo, and preceding chapters show how to wire the Profibus-DP connections on the drive and what parameters must be activated so it runs smoothly with Profibus: http://www.kontekotomasyon.com.tr/images/documents/DA200%20Operation%20ManualV1.1.pdf Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
