Hello,

I want to change the parameter of an IO Link Sensor (PV7004 from IFM) but while the program is running. In case, i want to change the thresholds of the sensor.

I'm using TIA Portal V13 with the ET200SP and the IO Link Master AL1103 (from IFM)

See in attachment, the pictures of the project. I'm really, lost, i don't know what is not working. I've try to search for the error code but i found nothing.

The goal is to recover the parameters, change what i want (more precisely threshold values) and then send back the data to the sensor.

if there are few parameters to change i'll change to a direct transfer of the new  thresholds, without recovering the data from the sensor.

The download page (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/82981502) for IO-Link call says:

The IO_LINK_MASTER block works with the following SIMATIC S7 communication modules

• ET 200SP CM 4xIO-Link
• ET 200AL CM 4xIO Link
• ET 200ecoPN IO-Link Master
• S7-1200 SM 1278 IO-Link

 I think, you have to ask IFM for a similar block for their IO-Link Master.

I'm not using the block IO_LINK_MASTER, only a block called IO_LINK_DEVICE.

I've already asked IFM for documentation, but I havn't any response yet.

IO_LINK_DEVICE should work with every sensors since IO-Link hasn't any owner

Were you ever able to find a solution? I'm also using the IO Link Device block but I'm not reading the right data and writing doesn't work. I also need to change my device's parameters with the program.

I can agree to:

IO_LINK_DEVICE should work with every sensor connected to a Siemens ET200 or S7-1200 IO-Link Master module  since IO-Link hasn't any owner.
