Hello, I have a problem with configuration of the Balluff IO-link master BNI PNT-502-105-Z015. Im working on plc CPU 1214C, 214-1HG31-0XB0 with TIA Portal V11 SP2 update 3, but i vl already checked it in TIA Portal V12 and i had the same problem. I had installed GSDML file of the module properly and connected to PLC by profinet (network.jpg). I assigned ip and name to IO link master and there is no error. But when i try to assign to its specific ports IO-link config (device view.jpg) i get configuration error diod on module flashing and error on PLC. Diagnostics of the PLC u can check on diagnostics.jpg in atachement. I found one post on this forum with similar problem and somebody said that he should right click on module in device view and go into "Start device tool" before assigning specific IO-link config but in my case i have this option disabled. I can add that there is not .iodd file for this io-link module. In atachement.zip u can find screens mentioned above. Please help,

I have similar question. Ho do you setup S7 PCT to configure Balluff IOlink Master? |

hi, S7-PCT doesn´t work for Third party masters. Only with Siemens IO-Link master-modules. on the download-page you see the supported IO-Link Masters
S7-PCT V3.5 Update 1 for IO-Link Master hope this helps, regards,
