IOT 2040 crashes randomly on node-red

Well yes, on this tests i was using a 2020 so only one port is used.

Sometimes i get no answers or ping, sometimes only node-red crashes.

I am now using the 2050, the final device, and i got it to happen again, node-red restarted but in this case the IP shifted, so in my conclusion is that it might be the DHCP on my router that is doing some weird stuff...not uncommon.

I will set a static IP and report back!

Your issue sounds very similar and I just had one go down now and noticed that immediately after node-red stopped it was inaccessible via SSH, I tried a few times, then tried to ping with success went back to SSH for a fail and then the next SSH attempt worked, node red was not running again though so a reboot and all is well again.

It is like the unit has crashed for whatever reason, it is able to recover the system/networking part after a few minutes but leaves node-red no longer running.

As mentioned in my post I have 6 of these -all on Static Ip's that do similar but slightly different jobs but all have constant problems with this - be interested to know if you had any more luck or with the 2050 as that was my next plan?
