IP 241 K Position Module - how does it work

Pvetris Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm trying to know how the 6ES5241-3CA11 works,but the manual shows a model wich have 2 DB 50 pins. The model that we ´re studing have 4 DB9 front connectors, and use the FB105 (BBS:WST) but it has more parameters than FB105 described in manual. Please, can you bring me more information about it ?

Late Platinum Expert Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 2/16/2023 Posts: 2705 Rating: (311)	Hi P, The -3CA11 must be an older -3CA13, the handbook (from 1991) is under the next link: Analog Position Decoder IP 241 K Equipment Manual for Module 6ES5 241-3CA13 Maybe you could find there where you are searching for, because this card is very old and already discontinuted it might be better to look for newer equipment. For S7 you can look to the FM451 / FM 351...
