IPC427C display shutdown

To get the display back, we have to reboot the IPC. We have an IPC427C connected on a 55inch tv monitor through DVI that occasionaly stop displaying and the screen goes black... thanks!

(it's actually to IPCs connected to two 55inch monitors) The two IPC has windows XP embeded The energy saving options are not enabled, it's on the default simatic settings I haven't tried connecting to another monitor but they are a couple of dozens of other IPCs in the facilty that are connected to 19inch siemens touch screens. They are not causing any issues.

I would try to change the ipc with one, that you know that works without any trouble. If the problem occures also with the "good" ipc, then you may have a problem with the 55inch monitor.

We must be very unlucky to have installed two bad IPCs with the exact same problem... Thanks

Unfortunately I have no idea what could cause this problem. Could you connect the 55inch monitor via a different type of cable, i.e. DisplayPort or HDMI? Maybe sending the signal from the IPC through an adapter into another type of cable and to the monitor makes a difference. If nothing helps at all, try to contact Siemens Support and describe them your hardware setup in detail. - edited support-request link
