Are this bit being set only when I do a zeroing or are the bit set when the weight value drop below a curtain value(close to zero)`?

the 1/4d-Zero signal of the Siwarex M indicates the weight value is zero +/- 1/4 of the set resolution of the scale.

The “1/4 d zeroing” means that the weight value is quite near to 0,000 kg.

If this flag is TRUE, the current weight value is below ¼ of the resolution d.

For example:

The resolution d is 1 kg.

If the flag “1/4 d zeroing” is TRUE, the current weight value is between -0,25 … +0,25 kg.
