Is Analog Input Module 6ES7 331-1KF02-0AB0 compatiable with PCS7 V7.1 SP2 ?

ashutosh pethkar Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	hi Everybody, I am using Analog Input Module 6ES7 331-1KF02-0AB0 is this module is compatiable with PCS7 V7.1 SP2 ? if not how can i use this module , but when i pepare hardware configuration it wont given me any error or warning. But at the time of compiling of CFC chart it shown some warnings related with module driver. will u help me regarding this....please best Regards, Ashutosh Splitted from PCS7 Hardware Compatibility. Can you please post the log file from module drivers (in log dialog... the tab "module driver"). By the way... this manual lists moduls that are released for PCS 7 (meanwhile there should be more modules availabe... but the the manual wasnt updated yet): http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/7215812/0/en

Yoga Shankar Posts: 288 Rating: (22)	Hi, Everytime PCS7 is installed, a "released modules" list is supplied in the documentation. As of the present, the module in question is released. However, the module in question is an Analog input module. The warnings appear because the "generate module drivers" function is not able to detect the type of analog transmitters connected to the module and hence cannot determine the "MODE" value which it connects on compile. Don't worry. During testing, either ignore the warnings or compile without the "generate module drivers" function checked. When you deploy the program on the actual system and do a compile with the option, the warnings will be generated only if the analog transmitters cannot be detected. This is a normal scenario.
