Hello

Does somebody know if dynamize a WinCC Unified faceplate with the bit value of a WORD, DWORD or BYTE tag interface is possible, 1 year after the initial post where crazyCow said it was impossible? I personnaly don't think because I don't see a bit selection in the dynamization... If not possible, how should I do? Use a script? Something else?

as far as i know i would also say it is not possible to select a bit of a word at the interface directly. I guess the easiest way is to do it with a script in the faceplate so you can connect the word in the interface

I'm quite new with WinCC Unified and script so do you know how i could integrate the interface tag into my script? I mean I don't know the way to say in the script "I use this variable and it is an interface tag"...

sure. To use the Interface-Tag in a script in the faceplate you can do it like this:

let myTag = Tags("PropertyName");

then you can read the Value with

myTag.Read();

or write Values with

myTag.Write(123);
