Is IM153-2BA02 compatible with BM195-7HA/7HB? 

Im having a bus fault and "module configured but not available", despite IM153-2 and profibus connection both verified ok.

Now im doubting IM-BM compatibility after I read some versions can be incompatible.

The Bus module 6ES7 1895-7HA00-0XA0 is compatible with one P.S. module and one IM 153-2; the -7HB  Bus module is designed to hold 2 x 400mm-wide I/O modules.

- 6ES7195-7HA00-0XA0

ET200M, BUS UNIT F. P.S. AND IM-153-2

- 6ES7195-7HB00-0XA0

ET200M, BUS UNIT F. 2 40MM I/O MODULES

For a redundant IM-153-2 setup, you would need this model of Bus module:

BM195-7HA I seems ok, but I don't see BM195-7HB in the compatibility list for IM153-2 HF (BA02). I couldn't actually see BM195-7HB in any list at all!

So it appears that's what causing my bus fault problem? 

It seems I will be needing at least BM195-7HD for IM153-2 HF?

The links above show that the 6ES7 195-7HB...  is not designed to hold IM 153-2modules, but is designed for 2 I/O modules on he ET 200M rack. The ...7HA,,, bus module is designed to hold one Power supply module and one IM 153-2.

For redundant ET 200M systems, you need the ...7HD... bus modules to hold two IM 153-2 modules.

Sorry I didn't made it clear, I'm using IM153-2 HF just for single CPU and ya I mean to use BM195-7HB to to connect the signal modules to the IM. 

We actually managed to add the hardware succesfully, but it was troublesome and we eneded up not using the BMs, but just u bus instead.

But still want to ask something. We actually saw the existing remote IOs use the BM195-7HB, so it would seem it's not the problem. What gave us trouble is the BF2 LED. When we connect the module, it gives BF2 and flashing BF1. I read BF2 is irrelevant, and BF1 is config error, but nothing different in HWConfig, and when we try isolate existing IM153-2 HF, it didn't give any BF2, while the new one gives BF2 even isolated (no other modules connected). The cable is also good.

I didn't understand what happened, we even switch profibus address with the existing one (how unreasonable as it is) and remove bus module before we finally establish communication.

But looking back, I didn't actually remember if there was any BM195-7HA for the IM and PS. Why does PS even need to be connected on bus module anyways (if using u-bus no need for PS right)?

Also what so you think about that freakin BF2? How did it appear on non-redundant system?
