Is it plug and play for AO moduel 6ES7332-5HD01-0AB0--need fast help

I am not so good at SIMATIC S7300 AI and AO module , as I know, DI or DO module, if have defective module, just replace with the same part# one. But I am not sure for AO. That means--if I have AO 4 module defective. I have same part# one in spare, just replace it , system will run in normal?

Hello nulizhang,

if you replace the AO-card with the same part number it should works.
If you replace a AI-card then it could bee that you configure the measuring range modules at the card (6ES7-7KF02..).

For analog input modules it's important to check the measuring range modules.

For analog output cards nothing special needed

Thanks for both of you. that is what I expected answer--for AO module I did not see any adjustable parts on it--so it should as your said "plug and play". for AI, I know there are 4 measuring rang cards on the side of the module--I think I need follow the original (old module setting) --then the replacement will be good.

this time I have only the question for AO, but you give the answer for AI as well,  which is I want to ask for long time ago. Very happy to get quick help. thanks again.
