Is it possible to replace UMG 503 with UMG96

Yusuf_TUNÇ Posts: 64 Rating: (2)	Hi, Expert friends. I have a little problem for you but for me a big problem. Our company years ago buit a project with c7-633 on simatic manager 5.5. Janitza UMG 503 was connected to the our system with the profibus. Some of our customer has problems with the UMG 503 and needed to be replace with new one but Unfortunately there is no back up the UMG 503 and as far as we know, production has ceased. I know Tia portal better I have never done any project with the simatic manager but I am just using the tia portal. I do not think we have a chance to update a program that was already written because our company does not update the programs they have built. So I have to continue using of simatic manager. I assume that I have updated the program with tia portal and it will have to be tested so that the projects are very big and the test is very difficult. Before updating, I need to learn that Do we have a chance install GSD file of UMG 96 on the simatic manager 5.5? If yes that will be very nice and how to? I tried to install but I can not. Only hardware windows hould be open the other not. So I have done. Thank you. Bu I still need your information what wee need to do about our project that buit with simatic manager 5.5 and protool.

Yusuf_TUNÇ Posts: 64 Rating: (2)	I answer my own responsibility myself that it possible but support voltage are so different then UMG 503. UMG 96s tooks support voltage from 3 phase so it doesn't not workwith our project.
