Hi,

Introduction

As from the TIA V16, there was the introduction of the WinCC Unified. This is an engineering platform for HMI Comfort Unified and for WinCC Unified PC.  It brings many news regarding the WinCC Advanced / WinCC Professional.

Among other things, this version is heavily supported by HTML5, (including for simulation purposes, which differs from previous versions).

Here are in brief mode the steps to set up the first project and simulate it (attached related figures):

WinCC Unified Configuration

1. During installation an initial adjustment of WinCC Unified Configuration is made. Just in case, run it again (e.g. from desktop).
2. In step User Adminstration, write down the username and password (figure 1) for later use.
3. In step Secure download, uncheck “Activate secure download” (figure 2)

TIA Portal

1. Create a new project as usual: Project view, top menu, Project, new
2. Add an HMI or RT as usual (this time, type Unified): Project tree, Add new device, choose the type, OK.
3. Create a screen and draw something there (project tree…, Screen, Add new scree…)
4. Start the simulation (top menu, Simulation, start)

SIMATIC Runtime Manager

1. Just for check: open it (e.g. from desktop) and see if the simulate project stay there, and in SIMULATION mode. (figure 3)

IIS

1. Just for check: control panel, view by small icons, Administration tool, Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager, Sites, WinCC Unified SCADA (figure 4)

Web Browser

1. Open an Internet Browser (e.g. Chrome, or Edge), give the URLhttps://localhost (figure 5), Click on WinCC Unified RT.
2. Give the noted user and password (figure 6)

Hi, I really appreciate the info. I just wanted to know if its possible to run applications of WinCC Unified PC Station in a PC where its WinCC V7.5 also installed additionally with the option of WebUX. 

I have installed Tia Portal Step 7 pro with WinCC Advanced/Unified V16 and WinCC V7.5 SP1 in the same PC and I have no issues regarding to the engineering, actually y can load the wincc unified runtime project and it seems to be running, however when I try to access the application via webrowser it only points to webux.
