Is it possible to use CP5614 as a slave simulator.?

By slave simulator i mean, that, if i have a configuration wherein CP5613 is the master card and some ET200M stations are slaves. But during thetesting phase, instead of connecting the ET200M stations, is it possible to connect CP5614 and simulate it for all I/O values & diagnostics of ET200M station.??

Hello again aym_31 I must admit that Icould only speculate on an answer for that one (for one Slave it should be possible assuming you can configure the CP5614 to fake the ET200M'sID number and "DP base program" it to behave like an ET 200M, making the CP5614 assume the role of a number of DP Slaves willbea different thing altogether though as far as I'm concerned). Siemens IT4Industry group does however have a product called SIMBA Profibus available which will exactly do what you intend to do and you can find out more about it at the link below. SIMBA Profibus I hope this helps
