Is it possible to use S7 1500 software controller on a non-Simatic IPC?

Hello everyone

Can anyone give me the proof that it is possible to use S7 1500 software controller on a non-Simatic IPC? And if it is compatible, is it then compatible for every brand if I follow the features listed in one of the messages above? I heard somewhere that one of the last versions (21.9) of the CPU 1507 S can work on a non-Simatic IPC. But after following the manual "S7-1500 Software Controller CPU 1505SP (F/T/TF), CPU 1507S (F), CPU 1508S (F) Version 21.9" it did not work on my non Simatic IPC. I got a screen with the following error 

"Fatal error occured on core 0: Unsupported PC type 'HX500".

So now without proof I am doubting that it is even possible to connect the Siemens software controller with a non-Simatic IPC.
