is it possible to use this same cable for cp1430 configuration downloading?

Hello senthil, To be honest I am tried only with 6ES5 734-2BF00. (connection between PG and CP). BTW I continue to use. To connect to the PLC using the CP you have to use another cable 6ES5 725-0AK00. Look at Cable assignment for the CPU - CP connection line (monkey swing) Regards Hristo Mihalev |

The programming port on the CP1430 is the same as the one on the S5 CPU (AS511), so any programming cable that you use to program the S5(e.g. Siemens PG with cable, Laptop with RS232 to TTY programming cable orLaptop with USB to TTY programming cable)can beused to program (and/or do online functions) the CP1430. |
