According to article 22754444SFC20 or BLKMOV is no longer available in the S7-319-3PN/DP CPU. See paragraph from atricle below. SFC 20 "BLKMOV": SFC 20 was previously used to copy data from a DB which is of no relevance to the sequence. This SFC 20 function is no longer available in the CPU 319-3 PN/DP. SFC 83 "READ_DBL" is now used for this. If i look online i still see SFC20 and i want to use it for block moves. Does anyone know if this article is wrong ? If i read the SFC-help SFC83 is used to copy datablocks from flash eprom to work memory and cannotreplace SFC20.... René |

Hi René! As you can see in the S7-300 Instruction List CPU 31xC, CPU 31x, IM 151-7 CPU, BM 147-1 CPU, BM 147-2 CPU (on page 116) the SFC 20 is still available on the CPU 319-3 PN/DP. Only the functionality of copying data from a DB which is of no relevance to the sequence is not available for the CPU 319-3 PN/DP. To use this single function you have to use the SFC 83. |
