Denilson Pegaia Platinum Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 1/22/2025 Posts: 4396 Rating: (1464)	Hi, you can use STEP 7 Basic (any version)for programming S7-1200. you can use STEP 7 Professional V11 to programing S7-1200, S7-300, S7-400, ET200 CPUs, WinAC. you can use STEP 7 Professional V12 to programing S7-1200, S7-1500, S7-300, S7-400, ET200 CPUs, WinAC.

An overview of the supported modules is given in Entry ID50029532.(actually that list is valid for TIA 11 but I don't think is quite different in TIA12. Best regards, Hristo MIhalev

Kind regards, D.Stoyanov STEP 7 Professional v12 is compatible for S7-300 and S7-400 PLCs. But it's better to check against each MLFBs you have in your project making use of this TIA Portal Readiness Check Tool. As the very old S7-300/ S7-400 hardwareare not supported by STEP 7 Professional v12.
