Is the lifebeat monitoring need to be configured in all redundant servers?

frade22 Posts: 39 Rating: (0)	Hello, We use PCS7 Siemens and 2 redundant pair of servers. The first pair was validated and the lifebeat monitoring of OS and PLC was validated on Master A/Slave A. Do I need to perform the same check on Master B /Slave B ? Is that possible that the lifebeat monitoring was configured differently on servers A in comparison with servers B ? How to check that? Do I need to verify through WinCC Explorer in each server? Thank you in advance Regards François

Thank you in advance Regards François Hi. What is the reason to do it only on the first pair? you should do the configuration on the first and the second server. Lifebeat configuration is not that complicated, just name you devices and select the connections. Just check if all connections are configured (in lifebeat monitoring) Server A to PLCs, Standby Servers to PLCs, Server B to PLCs, Standby Server to PLCs...
