Hi,

I am also looking for some advice if possible, I have a Drucksensor RS1 DC10-30V 4-20mA pressure sensor, I have this terminated into I8 on the LOGO PLC. No matter which AI Input I use I can not seem to get a reading from it. I have a compressor and I do not want the solenoid valve to fire when the compressor drops bellow 7 bar. 

Edit - I suspect the pressure sensor I am using may not be compatible for the LOGO? (10-30v) will it be easier to just get a new sensor that is compatible for the LOGO? If so which one should I go for? The system has a maximum pressure of 10 Bar.

It is a 3 wire sensor,    1= +       3= -    4= Output (4>20mA)

Edit - So I have Core 1 (+) terminated in the 24vDC+ 

Core3 terminated in the 0v

and Core 4 into I8 on the LOGO (presume this is AI2 in the program)

Thanks for your help on this, will the analogue input be displayed on the side of the LOGO PLC if it has this function?

I am looking at a different sensor that will send a digital input to the PLC so I do not have to mess around with a resistor as this is in a industrial panel, would I be able to use 

ifm electronic Pressure Sensor, -1bar Min, 10bar Max, Analogue + PNP-NO/NC Programmable Output, Relative Reading

This sensor has the functionality of setting the pressure locally on the sensor and from my understanding it will send a digital output to the PLC? 

Vishay 500Ω 0.5W Metal Foil Resistor ±0.01% ±2ppm/°C RCKO2 500R 0.01%

This is Highlighted on the data sheet:

2 outputs OUT1 = switching output OUT2 = analogue output (0 bar = 4 mA / 0 V; 10bar = 20 mA / 10 V)

I am hoping to use Output 1 as this should be a digital output that will be set on the sensor?

Thanks for your help, our compressor currently fitted (we will be upgrading) is currently struggling so I would like the output Q1 to only activate once every 5 pulses to the output, is there any way of achieving this? I tried using up/down counter but no luck so far.
