Hello, If you are looking for books on SFC's (51, 58, 59) ,you can find topics in the followings as far as I know: 1-Automating with STEP 7 in STL and SCL 2-Dezentralisieren mit PROFIBUS-DP/DPV1 3-Automating with PROFINET But I do not recommend you purchase all books only because you want to know what is philosophy behind SFCs.I suggest reading section related to each system function block in the following manual: System Software for S7-300/400 System and Standard Functions Volume 1 and Volume 2 Actually we only need how to use them and it is not helping to know their all interactions with hardware Best regards, Hamid Hosseini |

Hello, All you need to work on mentioned SFCs are included in the Manuals which are all available for download free of charge To tell you the truth, Mentioned books just provide same information about functions as you can find them here easily As an example for SFC51 and SSL ID and indexes refer to section 34 of THIS manual. Also refer to Index A(page #473) of THIS manual about data records in signal modules. Best regards, Hamid Hosseini |
