Is there a way of inputting data into VW0 via a TDE?

Hi, I'm looking at this same application with nickcat65 and what we are trying to do is use 2 x AI for temperature inputs and an adjustable setpoint which we would like to adjust using the TDE.

If we wanted to use VW0 as an example, which we have in a simple project to test, as the setpoint, there doesn't appear to be any way of getting this VW0 as an Input/Output variable on the TDE as the only data that is avaliable is the Bxxx Blocks when editing the message block.

In the simulation we use the datatable to adjust the value. 

Is there any way of inputting data into VW0 via a TDE ??

Split from Alter Value Through TDE.

We are trying to have an adjustable analogue set point on the TDE that the end user can adjust. The VW area looked like the ideal registers to use but couldn't find a way to get user data entry on the TDE.

However, I have solved this by using the Mathmatical Function which allows the data V1,V2 etc to be placed in the TDE message and hence the set point can be changed.
