is there a way to upload the app from the HMI or Import it into a new app from the backup?

I am working on recovering from a Hard Drive failure in my laptop, and have been asked to build 2 small units using a S7-1200 and KTP 400. I was able to connect and "syncronize" with the CPU in our demo unit and recover all the ladder logic. I was able to make a backup of the KTP 400 and restore it to the new HMI. But is there a way to upload the app from the HMI or Import it into a new app from the backup? So that it can be edited and changed? or am I stuck building the screens again? Thanks. Thanks for your quick reply. Too bad there is no way to sync or upload from a working HMI, like you can with the PLC, maybe that will be in a future version. Thanks. |
