Is there a way to use an external button to then acknowledge that alarm?

When creating a system alarm - Is there a way to use an external button to then acknowledge that alarm?

The idea is that I will use a script within a faceplate to generate a system alarm and then a button on that faceplate must be able to acknowledge the alarm.

Hi,

Both these methods are to acknowledge an alarm that is defined on the "HMI Alarms" table.

However, if a script is used to generate a system alarm then this alarm is not present on the table.

I was hoping to have a simpler method to configure alarm events and their acknowledged status by using scripts within faceplates - rather than having to enter them in 1 by 1 into the table.
