Is there any specific reason why the "startprogram" function is not working as intended?

Hi, Is there any specific reason why the "startprogram" function is not working as intended? It used to be a simple and practical function in previous versions. I'm not sure if users would prefer to use such a complicated structure. This would be a question for the WinCC Unified Runtime development team. But I doubt that any of them would be active here, so you should rather create a support request. Kind regards Stefan

I don't think this kind of usage would be widely accepted by many users. I wanted to point that out. When I tried the suggested method, it resulted in two console windows staying open. Requesting the operator to close them every time is not a user-friendly approach, to be honest. Hopefully, in future updates, a more effective solution will be developed for this issue. Thank you for your interest.

rdoliveira Gold Expert Joined: 4/26/2012 Last visit: 10/9/2024 Posts: 1557 Rating: (169)	Hello, yes, these functions that come out of the application are more restricted, and yes, if you detected a problem, it is as mentioned before, you inform the version of the software and hardware involved with the backup of the project, images and detailed description of what happened, and the support staff can review to give you a more accurate answer, as you would like or suggest a better solution for you. Hi, no problem, it's just that we suggest support when we don't have exact answers here, we just help with what we know and can, and it's always available for discussions and for others to read and know too. And when a call is opened, your response may be faster for the solution in question or for a solution in a future update, we suggest posting the results here for everyone to know. good luck.
