is there Logo version to read the signal of incremental encoder or HSC channels? |

Hello Mustafa, William B.is right ...In LOGO specs. you will find that I3, I4, I5 and I6 you can use for Fast counter... But main restriction is that Frequency should not increase than 5KHz...

how can i connect the 4 qaudrature encoder to detect the direction of rotational speed and calculate the rpm? |

Hello, You can use this Inputs as Hi speed Counter....for less than 5Khz Frequency I think Its not Encoader.....

Hi, Quadrature encoder (double channel) is not going to be possible in the sense you want to use it. You can try and write coding to try and detect direction reversal, but there is no guarantee. Alternative: Let the drive give signals to indicate direction of travel. You do get external counters that can handle things like that. These could also convert the signal for you to another up/down counting.. but I would by then considered using an S7-1211. |
