I am using 1517T-3 pn/dp CPU and i want to use it with TM_Pulse 2x24V_1 in Isochronous Mode for SSI_Absolute_Encoder to track the position of an encoder.

It is running Perfectly fine in normal mode in OB1. but when I'm trying to use it with OB61 in Isochronous mode it is not responding at all.
could it be a reason that I didn't use SYNC_PI and SYNC_PO  properly.

could anyone please explain what could be the reason as well as solution for that.

Once you set your ISO mode, did you download the hardware using the right-click over PLC -> download hardware, or did you use the toolbar download button? The toolbar button only downloads software changes.

I expect the iscochrone mode for local S7-1500 modules in the next TIA Portal version. (End of 2018 ?).

Up to TIA Portal V15 you have to use an ET200SP or ET 200MP station.

Oh this is a local module?  You cannot enable ISO mode for local modules in V15 last I checked.

Up to TIA Portal V15 you have to use an ET200SP or ET 200MP station.

• With local modules, I mean modules which are located direct on the right side of a  S7-1500 CPU and are connected with the back plane bus connector (6ES7590-0AA00-0AA0).
• Decentrale modules are connected in a seperate rack after a IM155 header module.

Yes, I'm sure you can not select isochrone when you use the FM PosInput in a local rack. But you can select it in a decentral rack.

No. I'm not sure the isochrone mode will be avaible in the net TIA Portal version, but I will be surprised if not.
