Hello Homeroid_BL I fear you are out of luck with using an S7-1200 CPU for this. Isochronous mode on Profibus requires DP-V2 functionality, the CM1243-5 doeshowever "only" support DP-V1. Isochronous mode on Profinet requiresIRT support (Isochronous Real Time), the on-board PN port does though"only" support Profinet RT. If Isochronousmode isa must have for your application (be it on Profibus or Profinet), have a look at the links below to be able to find a suitable solution: Profinet: Which IO controllers and IO devices support the following functions: IRT, prioritized startup, MRP, PROFIenergy, Shared device, I device and clock-synchronized mode? Profibus: Isochrone Mode manual Also, what you are looking for in the technical spec of the CPU is an entry for Isochronous mode support (done via OB6x in a 300 or 400),see the "OB" section of spec of the latest 6ES7317-2FK14-0AB0as an example. I hope this helps |
