Issue in uploading program s7 300

In my case i was supposed to upload a program from the s7300 plc.. while uploading i was able to upload the hardware configuration but while trying to upload the program blocks it's saying the following error "The corresponding port cannot be reached"....... I dont have the back up program I tried all the baud rates & port address that was in the older posts... Pls tell me what to do or what to check.. Thanks & regards, Nelliyan

Have you tried to check what can you see by looking at accessible nodes ? Is your networking working at all ?

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	Also, please specify - if you can see your CPU in accessible nodes - can you open CPU online? If yes - can you see the blocks inside? If yes -can try to select all, Ctrl+C and paste into your backup project. Also - what version of Step7 do you use?

Nelliyan randy Posts: 461 Rating: (29)	CPU used -- CPU 313 C Communication Cable -- Mpi Cpu Port --- 0 Setting i tried--- All 3 baud rates + 2 address port+ Station Address ( tried all combinations) I tried VIEW ---> Online in that case i cant see any Fc's or Fb's or Db's While trying accesible nodes i haven't find anything My version --- v 5.4 One more important note i have to tell u( this happened today)--- I was able to upload the hard ware configuration But i cant upload the program, while trying uploading my program i get the same msg i told in my previous post..I tried the same setting that i used during the harware configuration upload was not able to upload the program I dont understand that networking question asked by Mr.Darius..please describe that question... I just ment if you can access anything with your computer and cable, but if you are able to upload HW configuration then I think your network is working.... When you upload HW can you then go to online with CPU and see diagnostic buffer at least ?

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	S7-300 CPUs all have same settings: Rack0, Slot2 for addressing CPU itself. Next: you SHOULD see CPU in Accessible nodes. Please ensure you use correct access point (in PG/PC interface) and you have your simulation OFF. There is also an autodetect feature, that might be useful. MPI default speed is 187.5Kbits, Profibus - 1.5Mbits. Next: can you try it with v5.5? or maybe from another PC? or with another communication equipment (i mean CP card instead of adapter or something like) Next: CPU is on working plant?
