The error message states: "The file Sia.exe does not have a valid signature. Installation cannot be continued." Previously, I successfully installed"SIMATIC WinCC Runtime Professional V19"and"SIMATIC NET PC Software V19"without any issues. I checked the"Turn off Automatic Root Certificates Update" setting and enabled it, but the issue persists. Could you please help me with this? System Details: 6 VMs running Windows Server 2022 All machines have no internet access See the list of default installed applications Note:All machines are hosted on a client ESXi, and our responsibility is limited to installation and configuration. Thank you in advance for your support.

itafusna Silver Expert Joined: 2/17/2020 Last visit: 4/25/2025 Posts: 1251 Rating: (235)	Hi, Below I list possible issues I belive can cause this: - An installation from a network drive. Please try installing the Update file from a local path. - Incomplete or corrupted update file. Please try downloading the Update 3 file again from the web, with the anitivrus/firewall disabled and checking the SHA-256 file afterwards. See: How do you determine the SHA-256 or SHA-512 checksum of a file? - The systems certificates are not up-to-date. Windows usually does these updates, but if the system does not have access to updates, or if the updates are blocked/disabled, these can be outdated and the installation will fail. There are also Group Policies which can prevent the updates, e.g. "Turn off automatic Root Certificates update". I believe that you have already checked this point.

All the ISO files are already in the local VMs. As I mentioned, I previously installed "SIMATIC WinCC Runtime Professional V19" and "SIMATIC NET PC Software V19" without any issues. The only problem I have is a certificate issue with this file.

I re-downloaded the file from the link that "Itafusna" provided, but this time I made a direct copy to the server, and the installation went through successfully. Thanks again for your help!
